NewMarket Technology, Inc. to Provide Microsoft Services for 481

DALLAS, TX--(MARKET WIRE)--Sep 10, 2008 -- NewMarket Technology,
Inc. (OTC BB:NMKTE.OB - News) today announced the Company's regional
subsidiary, RKM IT Solutions, has signed an agreement to migrate the
IT systems of Banesco Universal Bank (www.banesco.com)
to a Microsoft-based environment. The contract includes all 481 bank
branches and will involve the upgrade of their servers and
workstations. RKM will provide these services in conjunction with
Microsoft of Venezuela. Not including this contract, NewMarket
recently announced results for the first half of this year for its
Latin American business of $12.6 million in profitable revenue with a
regional goal of $30 million for 2008 through its operations in
Brazil, Chile and Venezuela. NewMarket reported $93.1 million in
profitable revenue globally in 2007 across all Company operations.
NewMarket Regional Microsoft Services and Partnership
RKM is fourth largest Microsoft Large Account Reseller (LAR) in
Venezuela, having recently achieved an overall Microsoft sales
increase of 235.78% over the previous fiscal year. RKM is also an
Enterprise Software Advisor (ESA) in South America. Mid-Market and
corporate customers in Latin America seek out the services of LAR/ESAs
when implementing large Microsoft-based IT projects. Through this
partnership with Microsoft, RKM offers high volume licensing,
specifically "Enterprise Agreement" (EA) and "Select" for companies
with more than 250 PCs and support services to large enterprises and
institutional customers.
Additionally, RKM's President Samuel Gamarra is Vice President of
the International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners (IAMCP)
Venezuela chapter. IAMCP (www.iamcp.org)
